1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and StandEquipped LLC, a company based in Wyoming, United States ("StandEquipped", "we", "us" or "our"). They cover your use of the StandEquipped app and the website at standequipped.com (together, the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What StandEquipped Is

StandEquipped is a Christian spiritual growth app built around the Armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18. It helps you:

• name the battles you face and record your victories
• pray, journal and reflect on Scripture
• find help in hard moments through Help Me Stand
• pray with and for others through community prayer
• grow with optional AI features, such as Battle Guidance

Features change over time. We may add, change or remove features, and some features are available only with Premium.

3. Who Can Use StandEquipped

3.1 You Must Be 18 or Older

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. When you create an account, the App asks for your birth month and year to confirm this. By using the App, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you give us is true. If you are under 18, please do not use the App. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.

3.2 Exploring and Accounts

You can explore StandEquipped and use Help Me Stand without an account. You need an account to write anything in the App, to use AI features, to share or report community prayers, and to subscribe to Premium.

Use accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@standequipped.com if you believe someone else has used it.

4. Your Content

4.1 What You Write Is Yours

You keep ownership of everything you create in the App, including journal entries, prayers, reflections and logs ("Your Content").

4.2 What You Allow Us to Do With It

You give StandEquipped LLC permission to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the App for you. This includes encrypting it, sending it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy (for example, to AI providers when you allow AI features), and checking shared content for safety.

4.3 Shared Prayers

When you share a prayer, you give StandEquipped LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it to other people through the community prayer feed (with your community display name or an anonymous label) and through its share link (without a name), for the purpose of community prayer. You can stop sharing at any time, and from then on we stop displaying it. We cannot recall copies that others have already seen or saved. Only share content you have the right to share.

5. Community Guidelines

Community prayer is a place to carry one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2). Sharing your own struggles honestly is welcome. To keep it safe for everyone:

5.1 What Is Not Allowed

Do not share content that:

• harasses, threatens, bullies or demeans anyone, or attacks people for who they are, including their race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, disability, religion or any other protected trait
• is sexually explicit, or sexualizes anyone
• encourages violence, self-harm or suicide, or explains how to do them
• is spam, advertising, fundraising or solicitation
• reveals someone else's private information, such as their full name, contact details or personal struggles, without their permission
• impersonates someone, or is deceptive or fraudulent
• is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights

Do not misuse reporting, for example by filing false reports.

5.2 How We Keep the Community Safe

Shared prayers and display names are checked by an automated safety filter before others see them, and our moderators may review them. You can report any shared prayer, and reports are private. Prayers reported by several people are hidden until a moderator reviews them.

We may remove content, keep it from being shared, or block an account from sharing and the community, at our discretion and without notice, when we believe it breaks these guidelines or puts someone at risk. We cannot review everything that is shared, and we are not responsible for content posted by other people.

6. AI Features

Some features use AI, and they run only after you allow them. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.

AI responses are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. They are offered for reflection and encouragement. They are not professional, medical, psychological, legal, financial or pastoral advice, and they do not replace your own judgment, Scripture, your church or qualified help. Do not rely on AI responses for decisions about your health or safety. Please do not enter other people's private information into AI features.

7. Crisis Resources Are Not a Crisis Service

Help Me Stand and the crisis resources in the App can point you toward help, but StandEquipped is not an emergency service, a crisis line or a substitute for professional care. Nobody watches what you write in real time, and a report or message in the App may not be seen right away.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at any time.

8. Not Professional Advice

StandEquipped is a tool for spiritual growth. It is not a substitute for:

• professional mental health counseling or therapy
• medical or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment
• legal or financial advice

9. Premium and Subscriptions

StandEquipped has free features and Premium features. Current features, usage limits, subscription options and prices are shown in the App or the applicable store before purchase. Review those details when deciding whether to subscribe.

Paid subscriptions are billed through your app store (the Apple App Store or Google Play) and renew automatically until you cancel. Manage or cancel a subscription through the store. Deleting your StandEquipped account does not cancel an active store subscription. Refunds are handled under the store's refund policy.

Sponsored Premium, when offered, is free Premium access granted after review by our team. We may approve, decline or end it.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, how AI features and community moderation work, how long we keep information, and how to export or delete it. Private text uses server-managed encryption, not end-to-end encryption, and our servers can decrypt it to provide features. Administrative tools use access controls and audit logging.

11. Using the App Fairly

You agree not to:

• use the App for anything unlawful or harmful
• try to get into accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or get around security, usage limits or safety checks
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the App or its content, except where the law allows it
• use bots or automated tools to access the App, or overload or disrupt it
• use the App or its AI features to create content that breaks these Terms

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, artwork, text, audio and software, is owned by StandEquipped LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App for your own spiritual growth, under these Terms.

Bible translations and other third-party materials remain subject to their own copyright and license terms. See the notices provided with them.

13. Ending Your Account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Data & Account > Delete Account, or by following the steps at standequipped.com/delete-account. We delete your information as described in the Privacy Policy, which also explains what is kept. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid app-store subscription.

We may suspend or end your access to the App, or to community features, if you break these Terms, if you put others at risk, or if the law requires it.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

14.1 The App Is Provided As Is

We work hard to keep StandEquipped available and accurate, but the App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the App will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or stop the App at any time.

14.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STANDEQUIPPED LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we update the date at the top. When a change is important, the App will ask you to review and accept the updated Terms before you continue, and we may also tell you by email. If you do not agree, you can stop using the App and delete your account.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. Before starting a dispute, please email us so we can try to resolve it together.
